Page 20, Problems 4-7

From my high school experiences, I would have to say that the strongest aspect of the Theory of Performance for would have to be Identity. Identity is my strong suit regarding the Theory of Performance because I have basically been known or thought of as the well-behaved, athletic, nice outgoing person to the majority of people I know or am close with. My identity is important to me because I always want to be thought of in a positive way in the viewpoint of another person.
The are of the Performance Theory that I am least prepared, or the weakest in is definitely the "Personal Factors" category. I tend to let my personal life or anything that effects me in a big way effect my performance in anything whether it be school or sports or just my well-rounded mood. It's a problem I have had my whole life and something that I work on everyday to fix.
The strength of my identity is critical to me for my success in college not only because the more people you are friends with that you can ask for help in any situation, but because the better you get along with everyone and set a positive identity for yourself, the higher the confidence level you have. Confidence is everything thing in life. It's simple, the more confidence you have in yourself, the better you see things, but the less confidence you have, the glass begins to become more and more empty.
The strategy I used to analyze the performance of the Honor Student was merely just going down the Theory of Performance ladder and assessing how the student fit in each category and detect the categories that he was strong in and the ones that he was weak in.
